She's sulking right now because I washed all the "fun" off her.  Now, she has to go out and roll, dig, shimmy and work on getting all the "fun" back into her coat.

She was a serious "gas bag" and could clear a room in seconds.  She was mom to 4 special litters, L, N, O and P and is gramma to many.  She specialized in "press-on kisses" and did wonderful "Bhudda sits".

We Bought a Treadmill

We bought a treadmill yesterday.  No more excuses now. Can't say - oh, it's too windy, too cold, too wet, or too hot out.  Wonder when it will become a clothes hanger?

Update:  Lil Pud has claimed the treadmill as hers.

Joey Has His Own Family

A couple of months ago Joey went to live with his new family in Saskatoon.  Now he has the best possible home ever - his own family to love and he doesn't have to share anything.  Joey was never a problem here and he is bullet proof with a tremondous temperament to match his oh-so-handsome face.  It is a win-win situation for everyone involved.

What About a Train Trip?

Now that flying is such a PITA these days with long delays, super-long check-in lines, body cavity searches, no on-board amenities, seat restrictions, re-routing, etc.  I got to thinking about taking the train.  Sure, it takes longer but talk about relaxing - especially if one purchases a sleeper compartment.  Nice views.  You can walk around to observation cars, go to a dining car for scrumptious meals, there are bar cars and other activities.  And you can bring your pets too (although they go into the baggage cars). You have access to your pets and can feed, water and walk them.

You can even charter and entire car!  Talk about a fun time that would be. Get a bunch of friends together - charter a car and head out across this beautiful country.

Congratulations?

I was in Shoppers Drugstore today and happened to see a young woman inspecting and reading the "early home pregnancy tests".  I just simply watched her going through all the boxes and reading...wondering whether this was a woman who was hoping she was pregnant or worried.  Hope it's good news for her.
